While its been pretty rough near shore, our beaches are calm and clear. With an east wind these past few weeks. Its left our gulf beaches crystal clear and calm. From Boca Grande to Manasota Key the water is gorgeous. Plenty of fish swimming around too. I LOVE this time of year because bait is right up on the beach. Easy to grab a net full and head on my way. Its a GREAT time to catch snook in the surf line. These fish swim around right where you are standing most of the time.
