The most common species of sharks caught in our area are sandbar, bull, lemon, blacknose, blacktip, spinner and hammerhead sharks.
However, the types of shark species vary by season. It’s a test of strength, but the lucky angler who catches a shark gets to tag their catch and pose with captain Andrew for a photo! Charter guests will have the opportunity to tag and release most species of shark caught during a charter. We are a volunteer vessel for Gray Fishtag Research. Angler can name their catch, help record data and we register it online. If your shark is recaptured you will receive notification via mail.
