Spending our cooker months inshore, with some over-slot redfish. Clients have recently had a blast hooking up to some drag screaming reds. Cut bait and live shrimp have been some of their favorite baits. These fish are cruising in large numbers on the search for an easy meal. We have had some blustery weather over the last few weeks. Wind and waves in and around Boca Grande FL. Thankfully we have been able to hide inshore, seems like these fish have the same idea! Although these fish are currently closed for harvest, they are a fun fight on light tackle. Anglers use Penn 2500-3000 series reels to catch these big redfish!
