Its been breezy and the fish have been chewing! With the full moon hitting right before the weekend, the tarpon were fired up to feed. Jeff and Dawn joined me for tarpon this week and caught a great bite.
Anglers are using Penn Slammers & Spinfishers to really put the heat on these fish. We use 60lb Bullbuster braided line in the passes, and 40-50 lb on the beach where we can really let these fish air out! As we push forward though the month of May the fishing will only get better, as more fish join the annual tarpon migration.
