I offer live bait trips to catch tarpon. Anglers use live crab, thread fins and squirrel fish to entice these fish as they travel along our beaches and passes.
Fish the Hill Tide
Want to catch those incredible hill tides during both day and evening trips. Never heard of a hill tide? They are some of the strongest tides of the year, occurring in spring. While they aren't the only time to catch a tarpon, they are some of the most productive tides for a bite. During a hill tide, the strong current flush crabs out from the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor to thousands of hungry migratory tarpon.

On a tarpon fishing charter, we take care of the details so you can enjoy the adventure: Anglers use Penn brand fishing reels and Trokar hooks. A Deck Gear fighting chair is available for your comfort during a long battle, so you're free to enjoy heart pumping action as you drift along with the legends though Boca Grande Pass.

Bull Shark High Speed Chase 2020
This fish was chased by 6+ bull sharks along the shallow beaches of Boca Grande. This year the sharks were intense. The craziest part? A HELLICOPTOR showed up to chase the sharks away! Sounds like a movie right? We happen to capture this event on video. Watch it here. Andrew and Aiden were able to safely take the tarpon into the shallows for a release, and away from the sharks!
Azaria - Late Season 2020
She started this day hanging on the beach and catching snook in the shallows. On the way in, I couldn't resist checking one of the flats these resident fish hang out on. It wasn't long until she was hooked on this monster! They had to jump in for a picture in the shallows before release!

Anyone who's tarpon fish knows, they may be easy to hook. It takes a skilled angler to boat a tarpon for a photo. These fish throw the hook like its their job. Ted finally landed his tarpon during a late April trip. Nothing like chasing them in pods along the beaches.
